[Coffeyville, KS] The Coffeyville Historical Society is thrilled to announce that it has been
awarded a $100,000 tourism grant funded by the State Park Revitalization and Investment in
Notable Tourism (SPRINT) program, launched by the Department of Commerce. CHS was 1 of
18 recipients out of 220 submissions in Kansas to receive this grant. This significant funding will
enable the historical society to undertake essential preservation and enhancement projects,
ensuring the rich heritage and cultural significance of Coffeyville and South East Kansas are
celebrated and accessible to locals and visitors alike.
