O.K. Kids Health and Safety Fair and Camp Blue Mission
Coffeyville Regional Medical Center has teamed up with our local Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Kansas to host a day camp and health fair for our youth in the community, Camp Blue Mission and O.K. Kids Health and Safety Fair. Our local Boys and Girls Club chapter provides a program called Keystone. Keystone is the Boys & Girls Club Movement’s ultimate teen program for youth ages 14 to 18. This unique program provides leadership development opportunities for youth to participate in activities, both in and out of the Club, in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service. With the guidance of an adult advisor, Keystone Clubs aim to positively impact teens, their Club and local communities.
Each year, the Keystone group is in charge of a big project that helps the community and this year they are helping put on this event. During the day camp, the youth of Boys and Girls club will show what is offered at our local club. There will be a chance for some hands on learning and educational time.
Coffeyville Regional Medical Center is excited to partner with our local youth and to continue to provide an educational event to our town of Coffeyville.
Camp Blue Mission and O.K. Kids Health and Safety Fair will be held the first Saturday in May.
