SAFE@HOME COURSE OFFERED AT COFFEYVILLE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Safe @ Home provides excellent instruction on staying safe inside the house, outside the house, online, and with others. The class is designed for students in grades 4th-6th to equip them to be safe when they are home alone. Safe @ Home is a 90-minute program and requires each child to have a Safe @ Home student booklet. Some of the topics they will learn:
• How to prevent unsafe situations,
• What to do when faced with
dangers such as power failures or
weather emergencies.
• Students are also introduced to the
Safe Sitter® First Aid Chart and learn
a system to help them assess and
respond to injuries and illnesses.
